Mari Edelle hails all the way from Bonga Mayor, in Bustos, Bulacan. Currently, she is a grade 10 representative/senator for the Junior High School Division. Back in an interview, Edelle told the SSG team this: “We decided to enroll at holy child academy because my cousins and my older brother graduated from this institution. At first, I was hesitatant because of the new atmosphere that surrounded me, but as time passed by, I feel comfortable because I gained many friends and the teachers were all approachable and easy to deal with. During my 8th grade, I joined the COLT, and because of that, I’m also an officer now; I am ranked 2nd Major Officer in the CAT, I decided to join here because I want to improve myself to become more disciplined and more responsible. Time flies so fast I am now a grade 10 student and two months from now, I will be a junior high school completer. All the efforts and hardships paid off because even if life wasn't easy for us, I have managed to finish strongly. I also joined Student Government because I want this/our school to be better, enjoyable and for me to be more responsible.”
